Weather & Cancellation Policies

CANCELLATION POLICY PRIVATE & BAREBOATING CRUISES
  • Cancellation of a cruise

    • If within 2 weeks-Loss of the deposit (50%)

    • If within 2 days-Loss of the entire fee, no refunds

  • Rescheduling of a cruise

    • No fee if Captain cancels due to weather​

    • $100 fee if within 2 weeks

    • $500 fee if with 2 days

  • All fees are due 45 days prior to the cruise date.

  • Private and Bareboating Cruises- Regardless of what time you show, your cruise will end at the agreed-upon time unless cleared by the Captain or Owner.

  • Cruising Credits will be given if inclement weather or other Acts of God force the cancellation of the cruise.

  • If your cruise was scheduled during an event (e.g., Air & Water Show), please keep in mind that you paid for a cruise. We cannot control the factors outside of our company. If the event is canceled but we are still able to safely sail or motor-sail, credits or refunds will not be issued.

  • Behavior that is detrimental to the safety and well-being of the vessel, crew or individual, e.g., excessive alcohol consumption, will not be tolerated and may result in a non-refundable, non-credited, early departure from the vessel.

CANCELLATION POLICY CARIBBEAN TRIPS
  • The deposit will be forfeited 60 days prior to the cruise.

  • All fees are due 45 days prior to the cruise date.

  • No refunds will be given within 21 days of the cruise date.

  • Cruising Credits will be given if inclement weather or other Act of God issues force the cancellation of the cruise.

  • If your cruise was scheduled during an event (e.g., Air & Water Show), please keep in mind that you paid for a cruise. We cannot control the factors outside of our company. If the event is canceled but we are still able to safely sail or motor-sail, credits or refunds will not be issued.

WEATHER POLICY

Weather on the water can be vastly different from inland, so we rely on a variety of tools that are specifically designed to predict marine weather. Weather cancellations will always be up to the Captain's discretion.

  • If you don't hear from us, cruises will be held as scheduled.

  • For hourly sails, in the event of a weather cancellation made by the Captain, we will call, text or email you at least two hours before you are scheduled to sail.

  • For multi-day sails, itineraries and destinations may be adjusted to accommodate weather conditions. Cruising Credits will only be issued if the entire trip is canceled.

  • We do not control the wind. However, we do have a motor and we will do everything we can to ensure you have fun. No credits will be issued due to lack of wind.

CRUISING CREDITS
  • Cruising Credits can be used for any future 3rd Coast Charters service.

  • Cruising Credits do not expire.
